The cost of shipping to one country is often the same as the cost of shipping to a neighbouring country within the same continent. Rather than entering the shipping costs for every single country individually, you can set shipping fee for all countries within a continent using a shipping zone. You can also select more that one continent in each of your shipping zone. Shipping rates for all countries within a particular shipping zone will be the same.
For each shipping zone, you can choose to apply a handling fee for the entire shopping cart, and using table rates to apply a common shipping fee, based on product weight, quantity, volume or percentage of item costs. Free shipping can be enabled for any shipping zone and the order total to qualify for free shipping can also be adjusted per zone.
You can have unlimited shipping zones within your store. You may want to have a shipping zone for domestic shipping, and a number of shipping zones for internatianal shipping. Our checkout system will ensure that your customer select the correct shipping zone for the country he/she want to ship to. For example, a customer cannot select United Kingdom shipping zone for shipping address to the United States.
Discount vouchers is a great way to allow you to issue special offers as part of your marketing campaigns. You can generate discount codes in the control panel and distribute them to your customers and potential buyers. When your customer shop with you, he/she types the discount code into the shopping cart which calculate the discount amount automatically based on the cash value or percentage of the shopping cart total. Our system will prevent the discount amount become greater than the shopping cart total. In this situation, the customer will pay only the shipping fee.
Our shopping cart is recording sales in the currency your customer selected when they shop, so that they know how much they are spending in the currency they familir with. During checkout, the shopping cart total will be converted to the default currency of your store. Your customer will pay you in the default currency. The currency conversion rate is updated daily, and is for information only.
Sales taxes are calculated automatically as your customer add items to the shopping cart. Sales taxes included the product sales tax and shipping tax.
A shopping cart only acts as a front end which passes information via a secure connection (another service) to a payment gateway.
We have integrated many popular payment gateways, such as PayPal Website Payments Standard, PayPal Website Payments Pro, Google Checkout, Sage Pay, Nochex, and Moneybookers. Using any of these payment gateways, your customers can pay for their purchase using a Credit or Debit card. Our shopping cart also support offline payments, such as invoicing, telephone/fax order, bank transfer, paper cheque, postal order, and cash-on-delivery.
Our shopping cart has API callback function intergrated to receive order information from payment gateways about new orders and other information. We use the callback information to update your product inventory, so that you will never over-selling your products.
You can also add affiliate or Google tracking code to the shopping cart page to monitor your visit-to-sales ratio.
