Diana Cooper's book Angel Inspiration contains many astonishing stories of how someone was saved from certain death by their angel and many people today believe they have a guardian angel. The subtitle, "How to change your world with the angels", makes the point that this is intended to be a practical book.
Cooper writes of calling on your guardian angel when you are ill, or upset, or depressed, or bereaved--or even if you have lost your keys!
Throughout, she stresses the need to help and heal others--friends, enemies, strangers, even world leaders and whole countries--by asking the angels.
If someone is being unfriendly to you, she says, ask your angel to speak to the other person's angel, because angels are never negative or antagonistic.
The second section of this very easy-to-read book describes different types of angels, and especially the archangels, including Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and others, and the areas in which they are reckoned to specialise: protection, harmony, healing, and so on.
The third section contains meditations and exercises, both to communicate with angels and to develop your chakras.
