Copal is a resin dervied from the Copal tree and is native to Latin America. Copal is traditionally used as incense in divinatory and cleansing ceremonies. Copal resin is traditionally burned in protection, cleansing and purification ceremonies. It has a hypnotic and heady scent that is both warm and sweet. Copal is perfect for trance work and meditation. This is a traditional Shaman's incense. It is very popular in Mexico among the Curanderoes (healers).

Remember to always ensure charcaol discs are completely extinguished and cooled before discarding -they can smoulder and burn slowly for hours remaining a hazard if not carefully disposed of.
