Cavies Rescue.
This
is a small, self-funded guinea pig rescue near Perth in Scotland that we
support. They are
currently
looking after 95+ guineas, with more on their way as a number of the sows are
pregnant.
Some
of the last lot of babies that have recently been rescued are in a very sorry
state due to the
poor
conditions in which they were kept. The pictures below show just some
of them with bad fungal
infections
- sadly these little ones are only a few days old and have had an awful start
in life through
no
fault of their own.
They
are making progress with lots of TLC, decent food and hay, together with skin
treatment using
Gorgeous
Guineas products. It will be at least a couple of months before they can
be rehomed, so in
the
meantime, they all need to be fed, medicated and have their skin problems treated.
