George 111 oak cased 8 day longcase clock with painted face. This is a typical Cheshire case with a broken arch pediment hood and 3 wooden finials.
The clock having a 13inch circular dial with roman numeral hours and arabic minutes, framing a subsidiary seconds dial, all within a gilt lined border. The movement is rack-striking on a bell.
The clock case and face have been restored and the movement has been repaired, cleaned and lubricated. The clock comes with the original pendulum, the bob having been cleaned and polished.
The overall height of the clock is 2.22m / 87.5" .
